Editing An RV

RV details aren't set in stone. As you learn more about an RV — maybe from a dealer's spec sheet, a phone call, or an in-person visit — you'll want to update the record.

Opening the Editor

There are two ways to edit An RV:

  1. From the garage grid — click the pencil icon (✏️) on the RV card
  2. From the detail view — click the Edit button

Both open the same editor.

Tips for Effective Editing

Keep it practical

You don't need to fill in every single field. Focus on the details that help you differentiate this RV from others and that are relevant to your buying decision. If you're not comparing tire brands, don't worry about entering tire data.

Update mileage over time

If you're watching An RV at a dealer and they're showing it at rallies or moving it between lots, the mileage may change. Update it when you notice a difference — it's one more data point for your decision.

Use consistent naming

When entering makes and models, try to be consistent. "Tiffin Allegro Bus" in one RV and "TIFFIN ALLEGRO BUS" in another won't group well when sorting. Pick a convention and stick with it.
