Multiple Profiles

RVThinker supports multiple profiles under a single account. This allows you to maintain separate collections of RVs for different purposes.

When to Use Multiple Profiles​

Multiple profiles might be useful if:

  • You're tracking RVs for yourself and helping a friend or family member with their search
  • You want a separate workspace for different types of RVs (e.g., Class A diesel pushers in one profile, Class C RVs in another)
  • You manage a dealership profile alongside your personal buyer profile

Switching Profiles​

  1. Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the toolbar.
  2. Click Manage Profiles (or look for the profile switcher option).
  3. Select the profile you want to switch to.

When you switch profiles, your garage reloads with the RVs, listings, and data associated with that profile. Your login session stays active — you don't need to sign out and back in.

Managing Profiles​

From the profile management screen you can:

  • View all profiles associated with your account
  • Switch between active profiles
  • Delete profiles you no longer need
Deleting a profile

Deleting a profile removes all RVs, listings, price history, and images associated with it. Only the profile's data is removed — your main account and other profiles are unaffected.

Profile Types​

RVThinker may distinguish between different profile types:

  • Personal — for individual RV shoppers tracking RVs they're interested in buying
  • Dealership — for dealers or those tracking inventory from a dealer's perspective

The profile type affects certain features and how data is organized. When creating or switching profiles, you may see an option to choose the profile type.
